Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo arrived with his family at a private airport in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh on Tuesday as he looks to begin his football career with nine-time Saudi league champions Al-Nassr Club. Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo, by far the biggest star to play in Saudi Arabia, will appear at Al Nassr’s jam-packed Mrsool Park stadium in Riyadh, Tuesday, for his grand unveiling ceremony.
“He brought a big team of assistants and even a private security firm,” an official told the AFP news agency.

After the controversy, he was busy participating in the FIFA World Cup 2022. Ronaldo is 37-year-old but still wants to play and when no major European club approached him he joined Al-Nassr. Ronaldo signed record-breaking agreement with Al-Nassr for an annual salary of US $ 75 million i.e. around Rs 620.6 crore, making him the most expensive player in club football history.
